What do you do to finish the weekend with as much fervor and happiness that you entered it with? Welcome to the Blues Buster! Shake off the pre-workweek doldrums and get the most out of your Sunday evening by looking for great wine deals. We found a restaurant that offers a 50% discount on every bottle on their wine list on Sunday nights. But is that really a great deal when many restaurants mark up their wine selections 100% or more? Tell me what you think. For example, I was able to enjoy a 2007 Orin Swift The Prisoner listed at $69, for only $34.50, which just so happens to be right around the price I’d pay at the wine shop… so what? Well, if I had brought my own bottle purchased at the wine store to dinner, I’d incur an additional $15-25 corkage fee, so that seems like a deal and, of course, I enjoyed the food the restaurant offered… and most importantly, my blues were gone.
