Just received an email from one of the local wine stores forwarded from my wife titled “Inventory Reduction Sale”… sweet! I know in this day and age of spam, most of us are weary of opting-in for online newsletters and such, but I would highly recommend getting on the email lists of your favorite wine merchants and wine bars. This is where you will have an opportunity to find great deals on wine as well as a chance to try new wines at palatable prices. Some headers for recent emails I’ve received:
“Saturday South American Wine Tasting @ The Tasting Room S.N.O.B.” — SNOB here means Slightly North of Buckhead : )
“Green’s Inventory Reduction Sale”
“5th Anniversary Wine Sale – d’Vine wine bar”
And not to mention, our local Sherlock’s hold a complimentary wine tasting every Saturday, so there’s always something to look forward to! Remember, we don’t own any of these places or get paid to list these… we just love how these establishments help us learn more about wine and do so economically.
